Job Responsibilities

As an Outside Sales Executive, you will identify potential clients, engage prospects, and close sales. You will be responsible for planning and organizing your day, including proposal writing, making presentations, and prospecting for new clients in order to ensure productivity and achievement of goals.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Setting sales goals to generate new business and ensure sales quotas are met
  • Prospecting for new clients via telephone, networking, trade shows, and more
  • Attending business to business functions to network for new potential clients
  • Identifying and reaching key decision makers
  • Engaging prospects by identifying their needs, presenting solutions, and building trust
  • Finding and overcoming common prospect objections and asking for the sale
  • Negotiating and closing sales utilizing proven closing techniques
  • Contributing to marketing plans and activities
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience
  • Must be highly self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of outside solution based sales experience, with at least 2 years of successful business to business sales experience
  • Strong phone prospecting skills, negotiation skills, and ethics
  • Proven sales closing capacity
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas
  • Computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Internet
  • Deep appreciation for process, performance measurement, and result-oriented sales approach
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to visit customers
  • Must own a laptop or personal computer with internet access

Compensation Package: DOE, this position will pay HIGH commissions, along with residual commissions! First year earnings should be minimum $60K-$95K. Second year earnings will be $120K-$200K+!
